The Iraq conflict ended in December 2015 and the Afghanistan War ended in August 2021. We have been at war for a generation, yet most of the civilian population had little knowledge or awareness of the toll that took on the young women and men who served during these conflicts. Panelists will describe why they joined the military, their time deployed, what they learned, and their journey home.
